About Stone Expert Institute

In 2008, our founder embarked on an unexpected path into the stone industry. With no background in natural stone, marble, or granite, the journey began almost by chance. At the time, our founder was unemployed, and a friend offered a position selling marble and granite countertops. However, the venture faced challenges due to the lack of expertise—both for the friend and for our founder.

Determined to succeed, our founder dove into self-education, exploring the intricacies of natural stone, its properties, and the best care practices. Over time, this passion led to the Permanent Sealer, a groundbreaking solution for stone care.

Through hundreds of interactions with clients, our founder deepened their knowledge, eventually taking geology courses to solidify their understanding. This wealth of experience inspired the authoring of a comprehensive bestselling book, Marble and Granite Countertop Secrets, as well as the development of seminars aimed at empowering stone fabricators and industry professionals.

Today, Stone Expert Institute stands as a beacon of knowledge and expertise. We continue to help and educate our clients, sharing the insights and lessons learned over more than a decade in the industry.
